Short Story Treasure Hunt and Blog Party Rubric

Students will locate, read, analyze, and discuss at least three different short stories from three different books. Students will write one blog entry per story.	Student reads three different short stories from three different books and posts a blog entry on each story.	Student reads two different short stories from two different books and posts a blog entry on each story.	Student reads one short story and posts a blog entry on the story.	Student does not write any blog entries.
Students will comment on at least three other blog entries written by their fellow students during the semester.	Student respectfully comments on at least three different blog entries written by their fellow students.	Student respectfully comments on two different blog entries written by their fellow students.	Student respectfully comments on one blog entry written by their fellow students.	Student does not post any comments on blog entries written by their fellow students. OR Student comments are rude or disrespectful.
Students will include at least one multimedia element (photo, video, animation, etc.) in each blog entry.	Student includes at least one multimedia element (photo, video, animation, etc.) in each of their three different blog entries.	Student includes at least one multimedia element (photo, video, animation, etc.) in two different blog entries.
