My Side of the Story
Description:
In this activity, High School students will be able to step into their current novel, Shakespeare's Macbeth, and "become" one of the major characters. They will describe themselves using adjectives and tell the character's version of the story. The students will support their work with details from the novel.
*Can be adapted for grades 9-12.
Goals & Objectives:

Materials & Sources:

Some of the material came directly from the Read*write*Think website.  The Identifying Character Traits information sheet, contains a description of character traits and provideds an activity on traits once discussed.  The Identifying Character Traits Worksheet, is a T-Chart so that the students can use it along with their book after reading the information sheet.  I also adapted the Requirement Sheet on another page from Read*write*Think.

Please visit their website to see these materials.
