Children sequence a story for its beginning, middle and end.

First grade students will create flap books demonstrating the beginning, middle and end of a story.

 

Materials & Sources:

Curious George Goes to an Ice Cream Shop, by Margaret and H.A. Rey, chart paper or overhead projector, construction paper/ markers

 

Procedures:
After reading a story, children create flap books about its beginning, middle and end.
