Description:
This lesson is designed for second grade students to research famous women in history. This lesson will introduce students to the use of the encyclopedia as a second source of information. The students will use guide words within the encyclopedia to locate the topic. They will determine important information, take notes in a graphic organizer and paraphrase information.
