We will read The Hungry Caterpillar as a class. Then we will discuss the life cycle of a butterfly. I made picture cards for the students to be able to see each stage that the caterpillar goes through. I ordered some caterpillars, and the students will journal the change they seew ith the caterpillars. When the caterpillars turn into butterflies, we will let them go.
