Stories.  We all have them.  They can make us laugh out loud or scare us so bad we don\'t want to turn off the light.  Writing down those stories takes skill, and lots of patience.  You\'ve already written good stories;  this PowerPoint presentation will help you write great stories.

Procedures:

1.  Before you open Tips for Terrific Story Writing, there are a few things you need to know:

*get a Story Writing Concept Map from your teacher/librarian.  You will fill this in as you go through the presentation.

*you can get to the next slide by pressing on the spacebar or clicking on the mouse

*you can exit out of the presentation by clicking on the Escape button on your keyboard

 

2.  When you have finished the presentation, hand in your Story Writing Concept Map. 

Assessment:
Ask your teacher/librarian for a Story Writing Crossword Puzzle and You Can Say That Again! Glossary.  Use the glossary to help you fill in the crossword puzzle.  Hand the puzzle in when you are finished.
