Overview:
This is the continuation of the introduction lesson on career planning. After familiarizing themselves with the available resources online, in the library, and the guidance office, the students will concentrate on their own personal career interests and will create a presentation to be given to the class, based on their research.

Instruction / Activities:

Students will choose a career to research based on their interests and skills.  They will find information on the education required, skills required, potential salary, employment trends, etc.

 

Students will create a project using a technology of their choice (powerpoint, prezi, imovie, podcast).  The information from their research will be incorporated into the project to showcase what they learned about their career interest.

 

Students will present their project to the class.
