Test Your Tale

Now that you've created your own twisted tale, it's time to evaluate it to make sure that it is ready to be handed in to your teacher and read to your classmates.

Have you:

1.  Written an introduction to your twisted tale?

2.  Included the main characters from the classic tale?

3.  Included at least 5 elements of a fairy tale?

4.  Does your story have a conclusion?

5.  Read the story over to make sure that events are in a sequence

that makes sense?

6.  Read over your story to check for spelling or grammatical errors?

7.  Practice reading your tale several times so you will be an expert when it is your turn to read your story to the class?

When you are satisfied with your Twisted Tale, you may hand in your worksheets and final copy to your ELA teacher.
