Below are the steps you will need to follow in order to complete this assignment.

1. The first step in successfully completing this assignment is to choose an artist to research. 
2. Every student must choose a different artist to research, so you must receive approval for your selection from your teacher. This is on a first-come, first-served basis.
3. Next, you must research basic facts about the artist, such as the artist‘s birthdate, date of death (if applicable), birthplace, background, etc. (See the rubric for necessary items).
4. You must research the artist‘s works, such as names of individual works of art, dates the art was created, and art styles and movements with which the artist is associated. (See the rubric for necessary items).
5. The results from your research must be synthesized into a written report of 2-3 pages, free from typographical and spelling errors.
6. The report must include links to the sites from which you received your information.
