Did you know that there are fifty-three different kinds of mammals in the Adirondacks? If you visit the Adirondacks you may see black bears, white tailed deer, raccoons, minks, and moose.
Click on the names of some of the animals to hear what they sound like.
You will be choosing an Adirondack animal to research and write a report on it. When the research project is finished you will share your infomation about the animal with the class.
There will be website links in the lesson to help you find information about the animals of the Adirondacks.
