                               How To Make A Pamphlet

 

                Use Publisher or follow the directions below to use Word.

 

                BEFORE YOU BEGIN, plan you layout on a piece of paper.

                Page 1 is the inside of the pamphlet. Page 2 is the back and

                the front cover is the last panel. Then go to any computer.

 

                Select Microsoft Office WORD.

 

 

                 GO to FILE at the top left of the screen and open.

 

 

                 Select PAGE SET-up.

 

 

                 Choose MARGINS card.

 

 

                 Set top, bottom, left and right margins at 0.5

 

 

                 Find ORIENTATION box and select LANDSCAPE.

 

                

                 Select OK.

 

 

                 Select Format at the top of the bars.

 

 

                 Choose Columns.

 

 

                Select the 3 column icon.

 

 

                Set width to 2.7; the spacing will itself or you may change it.

 

                

                Select OK.

 

 

                Go to the far left bottom corner of the screen.  Select the third 

                button form the left, Page Layout View.  This will allow you to see

                the page as it will print out.

 

                You are ready to start your folder.  The computer will not allow you

                to go to the next column until you are finished with one.  So you

                must push enter at the bottom of the column so spaces are placed

                there or it will not end up as you wish. 

 

 

                To see your ENTIRE PAGE  you may change the percentage on

                top right to make it smaller.

 

 

                To print back to back forst go to FILE.  Select PRINT.  In the box

                under page range select: CURRENT PAGE.  After the first page

                prints see Mr. Purcell or Mrs. Brandow.
