Description:
This 1 hour lesson is presented as a collaborative effort between the SLMS and the math teacher. In this lesson, students will search the website Dealtime.com to find the lowest price of a book. By the end of the lesson, students will have learned how to use a price-comparison tool, find differences in the cost of books in different formats, calculate differences in prices, and brainstorm reasons that a book might have several different prices.
