Materials:

baskets with non-fiction books

Example of non-fiction book on animals

Procedures:

The librarian will first brainstorm with the class and fill in the K and W part of the KWL chart with students responses.

 

Then the librarian will demonstrate and identify wihat are the different parts of a non-fiction book and what can be found in non-fiction books to the class.
