1. Get your animal group and graphic organizer from Miss Mutch.
2. Meet your group members and each share the questions that you have to answer.
3. Go to the library and visit the special collection of books that Mrs. Joedicke has made for us.
4. Visit the websites with the help of your big buddy by clicking on the links below to find out information about your animal.
All animals should begin at this site:

Orca Whale http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/whales/species/Orca.shtml http://www.npca.org/marine_and_coastal/marine_wildlife/orca.asp http://www.buschgardens.org/infobooks/KillerWhale/home.html Bottlenose Dolphins http://www.enchantedlearning.com/subjects/whales/species/Bottledolphin.shtml http://www.npca.org/marine_and_coastal/marine_wildlife/dolphin.asp http://www.buschgardens.org/infobooks/Bottlenose/home.html
5. Write down the answers to your questions as you go. When you are all finished with your notes click on the website below to fill out the final copy of your graphic organizer. This is your check to make sure that you have found all of your information.

6. Go to the printer to get your graphic organizer. Use your notes to write five or more complete sentences to answer your questions. You may do this in your science journal. Remember the first sentence needs to be the main idea of your paragraph.
7. Have a group member proof read your paragraph. Use your dictionary to find any misspelled words. Use your proofreaders marks to correct any mistakes.
8. Once everyone in your group is done, sit down for a writer’s conference with Miss Mutch. We will work together to make your paragraphs into a full report.
9. Once your final copies are typed, every group member will get a copy and you will have a chance to illustrate your report.
10. During Mrs. S’s class you will have a chance to make your reports into a PowerPoint Presentation.
11. Share your PowerPoint with the class.
