In groups of four you will investigate the lives of these mammals. You will get to explore library books, databases, and the Internet to get a clear picture of what life is like for these special mammals. There are movies to watch, sounds to hear, and maps to study.
Each group member will have his or her own questions to research and answer. You will each use a graphic organizer to arrange your notes. Then you will turn those notes into an excellent second grade paragraph.
Once you have each written your paragraphs, your group will use your skills of cooperation to arrange those paragraphs into a report.
When your report has been written and corrected, you will take this information to Mrs. S and she will help you create a PowerPoint presentation to share with the class.
