The above statement is very true in many ways. Technology has played an extremely important role in the history of human civilization. It has allowed people to develop from an agricultural-based to an industrial-based and finally into an informational-based society. To understand the importance of technology, one must study the history of technology.
The goal of this activity is to allow you the opportunity to take a close look at the importance of technology throughout history. In class you will be assigned a famous invention. After being given some time in the library to research your invention, you will need to satisfactorily complete each of the individual tasks listed and present your work to the class.
