About This BuILder
This buILder was created to help high school students write persuasive essays. As a former English teacher, I know that students dread writing essays, but I hope that after working on this fun lesson some students may feel better about writing. This buILder addresses New York State Learning Standard 3 for Language Arts which states:
Students will read, write, listen, and speak for critical analysis and evaluation.
As listeners and readers, students will analyze experiences, ideas, information, and issues presented by others using a variety of established criteria. As speakers and writers, they will present, in oral and written language and from a variety of perspectives, their opinions and judgments on experiences, ideas, information and issues.
