Day of the Dead Virtual Fieldtrip

Death is a symbol that has been engraved in Mexican culture since the first tribes of Mexico.

Death is a colorful, delicious and joyous passage of life;

death is not feared since it is the next step of one’s life.

 As part of their beliefs,

they have a yearly celebration to welcome home the spirits of their friends and

family who have died and are expected to come back for a visit.

Task: Today, you are going to go on a 'virtual' fieldtrip to Mexico to see and learn about some of the
customs associated with this special holiday.

Directions: Please answer all the questions on your worksheet from the sites that you will be going to
during the course of this virtual fieldtrip. Make sure you answer into complete sentences.
